2.Adding cheeks

Here are three suggested methods for adding cheeks to the foilnose. Cheeks are the parallel section the top of a foil often used for securing to a rudder stock.

1. Create the aerofoil section as normal and add tubes or dowels as supports. Fabricate your cheeks from a suitable wood or plastic, and add two holes to accept your support dowels. Glue the parts together and finish as necassary
2. Use the rear sheet to extend the top half to form parallel cheeks. The rear sheet may then be used to add additional support when using method 1. 
3. An extension of method 2 is to cut the rear sheet in an L shape
